Chancellor of the Exchequer, Alistair Darling has made it clear during his Budget announcements this morning that there are grim times ahead in his opinion.
Growth expectations have been slashed and he has had to announce huge increases to Government borrowing.

Chief Constable Mike Todd was a ‘Coppers’ Copper’ according to his colleagues. He was well respected, at the top of his game, and had a reputation for making the difficult arrest and the difficult statements in public.
Mike had challenged organised crime directly and was at the forefront on the ‘battle on terror’.

Lord Goldsmith (ex Attorney General) appears to be trying to make sure that he stays in with HRH by calling for all kids to have to pledge allegiance to the Queen prior to leaving school, and that there should be a National Holiday along the lines of Australia day.
