In a remarkable twist the Police in Goa have announced that they believe murdered 15year old Scarlett Keeling was drugged prior to being raped and killed.
A few short days ago Police in Goa had originally stated that the Bideford teenager had accidentally drowned. A second post-mortem then led to the conclusion that she had in fact been subject to rape and subsequently been murdered. Today new information claims that evidence has been found to suggest that Scarlett had in fact been drugged prior to this.
Scarlett’s mother, Fiona McKeown has been very vocal about the incompetence of local Police and has repeatedly requested that the Indian equivalent to the FBi are involved to investigate her daughters death.
Today’s announcement that Scarlett may have been drugged simply highlights the apparent difficulty that the Police in Goa are having with investigating this case, despite having arrested Samson D’Souza and Placido Carvalho under suspicion of the attack.
The drugs found in Scarlett’s system appear to be ecstasy and other unnamed narcotics.
Great job being done by the authorities then…
