ViagraSo it continues. This week I have had approx 100 emails to approx 12 email addresses offering to sell me Viagra. Now - let’s look at the facts:

  1. I am 36 and blessed with more potency than my lovely partner will indulge
  2. If I wanted Viagra I would not buy it from a dodgy website
  3. I certainly wouldn’t buy it from the online equivalent of the “bloke in the pub”

Now - surely I am not unusual? This is not to mention the amount of women who are receiving these emails. To be honest - I understand SPAM. I don’t like the endless drivel that comes in - but I have a really good SPAM filter setup and only read those that I choose to read. Clearly, the SPAMMERS are given a brief - send emails about our dodgy pills - and they dutifully send out their 22million emails. They get paid a pittance, but it is the people that pay them to send the emails that I DON’T GET.

Let’s assume for a minute that they get 0.0001 response rate - so that is 2200 sales. Let us assume $10 per sale. So that is $22000. Sounds lucrative? Maybe - let’s subtract the cost of the initial purchase at say - $2 per pill - we have a gross profit after purchase of $17600. Still pretty good. Take off about $1000 for web site and security (Big Dave on the door) and we are down to $16600.

Ah.

I get it now.

I have run out of coffee - fancy buying me one?
